Golden
Rule Revolution
Elaine
Parke, from Zelienople, Pennsylvania, released a full-length book "Join the Golden Rule Revolution." This 270-page volume is divided into 12 chapters, one of each month of the year. Each chapter focuses on a specific character trait or habit. For example: January is "Lend a Hand" month, March is "Resolve Conflicts" month,
and so on.
The chapters are filled with daily meditations, jokes and short essays on the theme of the month. There are lots of quotations - from Ralph Waldo Emerson to Malcolm Forbes to Donna Reed from television's "The Donna Reed Show"
- even some quotes from Charlie Brown! Plus Elaine throws in some of her own tidbits of inspiration such as "Life is much more than how you feel right this minute."
The tone of the book is upbeat and fun.
We recommend Elaine's book highly (available at Walden Books and Amazon.com).
