Big Pocono State Park
Big Pocono State Park is located in Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania. The park consists of 1,306 acres of rugged terrain on the summit and slopes of Camelback Mountain.

Clear Creek State Park is a 1,676 acre park along the Clarion River with great camping, picnicking and hiking.  A popular activity is the 11-mile trip from Clear Creek to Cook Forest State Park. The town of Brookville is located only 12 miles away. From I-80 West, take Exit 73, and from I-80 East, take Exit 78.

The Jennings Environmental Education Center, Butler County, is approximately 300 acres. It is managed by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of State Parks. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The grounds are open from 8 a.m. to sunset, seven days a week for hiking and other nature related activities. Weekend and evening programs may be scheduled during each month. Goals of the center are to protect the fragile natural ecosystems, manage the center's resources and educate the public in various aspects of ecological responsibility through environmental education and interpretive programming.

Moraine State Park features 3,225-acre Lake Arthur, an outstanding warm water fishery that is also great for sailing and boating. Visitors sometimes see osprey that were reintroduced to the park. Of special interest is the Frank Preston Conservation Area and a 7-mile paved bike trail that winds around the north shore of the lake.  Located in northwestern Pennsylvania near the crossroads of I-79 and I-80, Moraine State Park is bisected by PA Route 422 running east/west and PA Route 528 running north/south.

The 968-acre Parker Dam State Park is in northern Clearfield County just off  Interstate 80.  It offers a 20-acre scenic lake (Parker Lake), rustic cabins, quaint campground and unbounded forest make Parker Dam an ideal spot for a relaxing vacation. For wilderness explorers, Parker Dam provides a gateway to the vast expanses of the Moshannon State Forest. You can walk through a tornado ravaged woods, backpack into the 50,000-acre Quehanna Wilderness, mountain bike to your heart's content or enjoy quiet solitude searching for elusive Pennsylvania elk.

"The 36-acre park is accessible from the east and west by I-376 and I-279, and from the north by PA Route 8 and from the south by PA Route 51.  Point State Park is operated by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of State Parks. The park is managed and maintained by the City of Pittsburgh.  Located at the tip of Pittsburgh's Golden Triangle, Point State Park has a fabulous water fountain, paved promenades along the riverfront and overlooks with dramatic views of the city, busy waterways, impressive hillside scenery. The park land was designated a National Historic Landmark for the strategic role it played during the French and Indian War."
